POSITION TITLE: Human Resources Business Partner SITE: Cash Wise LOCATION: Williston, ND DATE POSTED: March 20, 2014 FTE: Full-Time HOURS: Will work primarily day hours with additional hours as required. Must be able to travel.
DESCRIPTION: The primary focus of this position is to serve act as a strategic partner to align business objectives with employees and management within designated divisions. The Human Resource Business Partner (HRBP) serves as a consultant to management of Human Resource related issues and provide leadership to location Employee Service Representatives. Successful HRBP will act as employee champion and change agent. HRBP assesses and anticipates HR-related needs. Communicating needs proactively with our HR department and business management, the HRBP seeks to develop integrated solutions. The HRBP formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value added service to management and employees that reflect the business objectives of the organization. The HRBP maintains an effective level of business literacy about the division’s financial position, its mid-range plans, its culture and its competition to aide in meeting Coborn’s Wildly Important Goals of being the Best Place to Work and Best Place to Shop. This individual will support the following North Dakota Cash Wise locations: Dickinson, Minot, Stanley, Tioga, Watford City, and Williston.REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or related field preferred and five to seven years Human Resource generalist experience. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. Ability to multi-task and prioritize. Demonstrate good judgement and decision making skills. Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite and email systems. Working knowledge of HRIS systems. PHR preferred. Local and regional travel required to meet business goals and objectives on a daily basis. Travel required up to 50% of time.
